With the first filter I received with the air purifier, I tried to take it out and wipe it down/clean it regularly. Every time there would be so much gunk/dust/dander on the filter. Even after I wiped it down, the gunk would build up again in a week. You can clearly see the difference between my used filter and the new filter I just ordered. It๏ฟฝ๏ฟฝs crazy that all the gross stuff on the used filter was just floating around in the air before lol. I have cats & dogs, and this filter catches so much of their dander. Absolutely worth the money. I can๏ฟฝ๏ฟฝt go without this now that I๏ฟฝ๏ฟฝve been using it for months! 10/10
We use these purifiers in several rooms in our house to great success. We have 3 dogs and live in the country and I have year round allergies that trigger migraines :( . By having these filtered on autoship we are reminded to replace them by and always keep replacement stock on hand. It๏ฟฝ๏ฟฝs convenient and a saving grace for my allergies and migraines (and our house stays a bit cleaner and less dog smelling).
I do a lot of sewing and need something to take all of the fabric dust out of the room. I only purchase Lavoit filters because they clean the room better than other brands. I take it out each week, clean all the fabric dust off of the filter and replace it back into the unit. I've never had a problem with them working as they should. Don't hesitate to purchase this filter.
This product is all that it should be, but I did not like the shipping packaging. There was none. My filter was delivered in its own box, not even taped shut. In this day of so many packages being moved across the county and across the world they sometimes arrive opened and messed up. I think better care in shipping is necessary.
I๏ฟฝ๏ฟฝve purchased this product before and I๏ฟฝ๏ฟฝm never disappointed. The filtration is first rate and it can be cleaned to extend its useful life although performance will fall off. The machine it goes with is first rate as well.
